Curriculum Vitae

Born in Brescia in 1948, graduated in Architecture at the Florence State University in 1973 with honours. Postgraduate studies in History of Art (1975) and Environmental Sciences (E.Majorana center in Erice 1977 and 1978). He worked at the Architecture School in Florence since 1975 as assistant and researcher since 1981. He taught Town Planning at Florence University, Analysis of Urban Systems at Milan Polythecnic since 1991 to 1994 and Urban Design at Brescia Engineering School since 1993 to 1996. Associate professor (2003)at Florence University. Now (2004) teaches at Florence and Parma Universities, Faculty of Architecture. Italian delegate at the European Union at COST - Urban Civil Engineering Technical committee, as representative of Italian Ministry of Public Education and University (since 1992). Member of the U.I.A (International Union od Architects) committee Architecture and children 2004-2006. Chairman of the Board of Architects of the District of Brescia (since 1993). He has carried out various researches financed by public bodies (MIUR)and is author of scientific publications, town and regional plans and architectural projects for public institutes.
