In 1999 she obtained the title of PhD in Biology and Molecular Pathology. In the period 2000-2002, she was awarded a post-doc research grant for research activities from the University of Parma. Since December 2002 she has covered the role of University Researcher in the SSD MED/04 in the Department of Medicine and Surgery, University of Parma. In 2018 she obtained the National Scientific Qualification for Academic Staff for second level professor for the academic recruitment field 06/A2 (SSD MED/04 - GENERAL PATHOLOGY). Currently she carries out research in the field of Translational Medicine in collaboration also with research groups both Italian and foreign, in the context of the oncological-translational field with aspects of technological-applicative innovation (development of new therapeutic strategies based on molecular target agents and on immunotherapy for the treatment of malignant pleural mesothelioma, breast, renal and lung carcinoma in cell models in vitro and in in vivo models in experimental animals).
