The research activity, supported by several publications in international scientific journals, concerns methodological and applicative aspects of Analytical Chemistry, in particular:
- development of innovative methods for extraction of compounds at trace and ultratrace level in complex matrices of food, environmental and biological concern
- development and validation of analytical methods based on hyphenated techniques aimed to quantitative determination of food contaminants
- characterization of aromatic profile of food aimed to guarantee authenticity of typical food
- application of multivariate statistical analysis in classification, optimization and analytical methods validation field

The teaching activity was performed for the degree courses in Chemistry, Science and Technology of Industrial Chemistry, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology, Food Science and Technology of University of Parma.
Lessons were given for the University Master “Quality control and validation of analytical methods” (University of Parma) and for several courses organized by CIMACQ (National scientific consortium “Analytical Methodologies and Quality Control”).

  • Nuove frontiere nella purificazione di acqua e aria

    Il workshop conclusivo dei progetti SPUMA e TOP presenta le tecnologie sviluppate per la purificazione di acqua e aria, con particolare attenzione alla fotocatalisi, alle schiume solide a base di titania e alla realizzazione di prototipi sperimentali. L’incontro comprende interventi di ricercatori ed esperti, una visita agli impianti e la presentazione dei risultati ottenuti nei test su aria e acqua.
