Beatrice Centi, formerly student and then researcher at the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa from 1981 to 1998, charged professor of History of Moral Philosophy and History of Contemporary Philosophy at the University of L'Aquila from 1992 to 1998, associated professor of Moral Philosophy (Philosophical Anthropology) at the University of Parma from 1998 to 2001, is professor of History of Philosophy at the University of Parma.

1) Kant's Philosophy and the german and italian Philosophy in the nineteenth and in the twentieth century: logic, psychology and ethics in Herbart, Brentano, Meinong, Husserl and in the Neokantianism; the reception and the interpretations of Kant's Philosophy in Italy; the thought of Antonio Labriola.
2) Ethics and philosophy of the values in Lotze, Meinong, in the Neokantianism and in the Husserl's phenomenology.
3)Intentionality and transcendental philosophy: perception, feeling, emotion and reflection in the german Philosophy from Kant to Husserl's phenomenology.
