1. Current Academic Position

Full Professor for GSD 01/MATH-03 (formerly Competition Sector 01/A3), Scientific-Disciplinary Sector MATH-03/A (formerly SSD MAT/05 – Mathematical Analysis) at the University of Parma, since February 2019.

2. Scientific Activity

Research Interests

My scientific activity has been and continues to be mainly focused on the following three areas:

1. Analysis of second-order elliptic and parabolic operators with unbounded coefficients.

2. Analysis of mathematical models in Combustion Theory and in the study of AIDS.

3. Inverse and identification problems for PDEs.

Invited Talks and Visiting Professor Positions

• About 70 talks, including roughly 50 invited talks at conferences/workshops.
• Invited lectures at Italian and foreign universities (Milan, Pavia, Salerno, Tokyo, Amsterdam, etc.).
• Two visiting professor positions at the University of Bordeaux 1 in the academic years 2007/08 and 2008/09.
