Born in Parma the 1st of november 1958. Graduated summa cum laude in Medicine and Surgery (1983). Specialist in Cardiology (1987), Internal Medicine (1993) and Sport Sciences (2005).
PhD in Experimental and Applied Medicine obtained in 1993.
Research fellow at the Section of Cardiology of the University of Brescia (from 1987) and of the Department of Clinical Medicine and Health Sciences of the University of Parma (from 1997).
Winner of research grant of the Ministry of Health for researches on the social diseases (1987).
Member of the “Italian Society of Cardiology” and of working group of “Heart and Hypertension” of the “Italian Society of Cardiology”. Member of working group on “Cardiac rehabilitation &exercise physiology” and of working group on “Echocardiography” of the “European Society of Cardiology”.
Ambulatory activity at Hypertension Centre and at Cardiovascular physiology laboratory (from 1997).
