Born in Piacenza on May 18, 1985, he is a Registered Nurse and holds a PhD in Translational Medical and Surgical Sciences. He has also earned post graduate certificate in "Orthopedic and Trauma Nursing" and in "Management for Coordination Functions in Healthcare Professions."
He serves as a Academic Tutor for the Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Azienda USL of Piacenza teaching site) and for the post graduate certificate in "Palliative Care and Pain Therapy for Healthcare Professions" at the University of Parma. Clinically, he works at the Orthopedic Emergency Department of the Azienda USL of Piacenza, where he also serves as a member of the Corporate Research Board and as a Research Documentation Specialist.
His teaching and research activities focus primarily on orthopedic and trauma nursing, as well as research methodology. He is the designated academic tutor responsible for liaison with the Research Office of the Azienda USL of Piacenza and the Local Secretariat of the AVEN Ethics Committee.
At the international level, he has been awarded fellowships by the European Specialist Nurses Organisations (ESNO) and the European Trauma Nursing Association (ETNA).
