Gloria Saccani Jotti graduated from medical school with first class
honours . She specialized in Anatomical Pathology and is now a full
professor of Clinical Pathology at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, in
Parma University in the Public Health Department. She has a spoken and
written command of both English and French. She has been a member of the
following organizations: the Supreme Health Council, the National
Oncological Commission, the National Commission for Health Research, the
Technical Secretariat for Programming Research at the Ministry of Education,
University and Research in Italy, the Italian Drug Agency Commission for
the Promotion of Research and Development, the COFIN Regulatory Authority
of the Italian Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Education
Technical-Scientific Evaluation Board for Internationalizing the University
System and the National Board for Continuing Education. She is also a member
of the Italian Drug Agency governing body appointed to Scientific
Communication and Research and the National Board for Continuing Education.
She has worked at the Gustave Roussy Institute, in Villejuif, France, the
London Branch of the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research in Sutton, UK and
the Royal Marsden Hospital in London. She lectures in masters degree
courses in Medicine, Dentistry and Dental Prostheses, the Science of
Preventive Motor Skills, the Motor Skills, Sport and Health degree course,
Professional Health degree courses (Nursing, Radiology and Radiotherapy,
Environment and Workplace Prevention Techniques) on Masters courses and in
several Specialization Schools. She has done research into the bio-
pathological, citopathological and clinical pathological characterization of
human neoplasias using citofluorometry and immunohistochemical methods
suitable for
highlighting kinetic cell modifications, genome destabilization phenomena,
the onset of planned cell death and clinical pathology. She has published in
several national and international journals and has taken part in numerous
conferences and congresses.
