SUMMARY OF RESEARCH INTERESTS AND EXPERIENCE
My research interests are centred on the Micropaleontology and palepecology of calcareous microfossils with particular focus on Calcareous Nannofossils , aimed at biostratigraphic and paleoclimatic/paleoenvironmental reconstructions.
In the years I have focused my reserache from the Appeninines succesions to the oceanic sediments recovered in deep sea basins, as well as on high latitude sediments containing nannofossils that allowed to reconstruct the paeloenvironment and paleoclimate of several succession form thE Eocene to the Late quaternary.
I participated in two Antarctic expeditons of the international Cape Roberts Project, and as off shore researcher to Andrill project. More recently the focus moved to high Northern latitudes.
