Born in Parma on 01/03/1977. Masters Degree in Civil Engineering, Parma University (2005).
Doctorate (Ph.D) Degree: Architecture (Restoration), 2009 – Parma University (2006-2009), with a thesis on “The long history of domed structures. Historical notes on stability, between debates and empiricism” (Edoardo Benvenuto International Prize, 2009).
Enrolled at the Order of Engineers of Parma ((n.2343A). since 2006)
National Academic Qualification as Associate Professor [ASN] (since April 2017)

RESEARCH EXPERTISE
The main research activity is focused on diagnostic and static analysis of historical structures, mainly related to dimensional principles, with particular reference to the equilibrium theory combined to structural analysis for dome structures. In particular:
- Historical and archivistic research on static-architectural evolution and on the progression of damage, with particular reference to the “proportional theory”
- structural analysis of historical structures, with reference to monitoring data interpretation
- Historical and instrumental monitoring of historic structures.
