Research issues:
Recent research activity dealt with studies about characteristics of mare’s and yak’s milk and derivatives,
characteristics of milk destined to the Parmigiano Reggiano production, evaluation of digestibility of feeds for several horse categories.
Since about 30 years she assists students of the Veterinary Medicine, of the Livestock Science and Animal Production Technologies and of the Food Science and Technologies courses as relator of degree thesis.
She is author of more than 120 publications in scientific journals.
She was speaker in many international meetings, mainly organized by the European Federation of Animal Science (EAAP).
She was beekeper and member of the Beekeeping Committee of the ASPA (Association for Science and Animal production).
