Curriculum Vitae
Jacopo Aleotti is associate professor at the Department of Engineering and Architecture.
He is member of the Robotics and Intelligent Machines Laboratory (RimLab, http://rimlab.ce.unipr.it/).
He graduated in electronic engineering at the University of Parma in 2002 and received a PhD degree in Information Technologies in 2006.
In 2003 he was Marie Curie Fellow at the University of Orebro, Sweden.
From 2006 to 2013 he was Post-Doc researcher at the Department of Information Engineering of the University of Parma.
In 2006 he received the 2006 MIMOS award by the Italian Association for Modeling and Simulation for the best PhD dissertation about modeling and simulation.
From 2014 to 2016 he was fixed-term researcher at the Department of Information Engineering of the University of Parma.
He was elected President of the Master's Degree Course in Computer Engineering for the four-year period 2026-2029.
His main research interests are robotics and computer graphics.
