Personale docente

Professor Paolo Veneziani was born in Piacenza (Italy) on 15th January 1963.

He graduated in Law cum laude in 1986 (University of Parma).

He was appointed judge in June 1989. 

He served at first as a justice, and then as a public prosecutor, until September 2001.

He is also member of the Bar of Lawyers licensed to practise before the Supreme Court of Cassation in Rome. 

In his career, prof. Veneziani has carried on an intensive scientific research and teaching activity in Italy and abroad. In particular, he obtained a Ph.D. in 1992. He attended the Max-Planck-Institut for Foreign and International Criminal Law in Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany).

From October 2001 to December 2004, he was associated professor of criminal law at the University of Parma. 

Since December 2004, he has been a full professor of criminal law at the same University, and still holds that chair. 

He also teaches at the Post-Graduate School for Legal Professions of the University of Parma. 

He gave lectures at the Master in “Diritto penale d’impresa” and at the Master in “Compliance e prevenzione della corruzione nei settori pubblico e privato” of the LUISS “Guido Carli” of Rome.

He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the legal Journals “L’Indice Penale”, “disCrimen” and “Sistema Penale”. He has been member of the Scientific Committee of the legal Journal “Diritto penale contemporaneo”. He is among those who deal with the review for the legal Journals “Rivista italiana di diritto e procedura penale” and “Archivio penale”.
