Scientific Activity:
This is documented by more than 150 publications in peer-reviewed international medical journals, as well as papers presented at National and International Conferences.
In the course of his career he has developed new strategies (conditioning regimens, T-cell depletion techinques, anti-infective prophylaxis and treatments) for hematopoietic stem cell transplantation from either matched or mismatched related donors.
He serves as reviewer for Blood, Leukaemia, Experimental Haematology, Haematologica and Bone Marrow Transplantation.
