Curriculum 2026. Prof. Simone Ferrari

Simone Ferrari (Milan, 1969). Associate Professor of Modern Art History, History of Art in European Countries—History of Art Criticism, University of Parma. He also teaches at the Graduate School of the University of Perugia (a consortium of 12 national universities). He is a member of the Center for Studies on Thought and the Arts in the Renaissance (Turin/Parma)


 


•    Founder and jury member of the Leonardo da Vinci International Award, which recognizes the best international research on Leonardo published in the last ten years. The jury is composed of renowned, internationally recognized scholars (Pietro Marani; Paolo Galluzzi, President of the National Committee for Italian Celebrations; Alessandro Nova; Alessandro Rovetta). 

•    Organizer of the conference series at Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan and curator of the photography exhibition *Il Segno di Leonardo* in the Bramante sacristy of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan.

•    Scientific advisor for “Leonardo Mondays” (Milan, Fondazione Stelline) 

•    Scientific consultant for Balich W. S. (the creators of Milan’s “Tree of Life” at Expo 2015), for a project on “Leonardo’s Waters” (presented at the Salone del Mobile).
 
•    As an expert on Leonardo, he has been interviewed by national newspapers and international radio stations (regarding Italy-France relations in artistic and cultural terms) and has appeared on television.
