Dottorando in SCIENZE DELLA TERRA, 40° ciclo

Presentazione

I am a PhD student in Alpine glaciology at the University of Parma, where my research focuses on Glacial Lake Outburst Floods (GLOFs) and endoglacial water pockets in the European Alps. My work aims to improve understanding of the physical processes that drive hazard development in rapidly changing glacier environments.

My research integrates climate-glacier interaction analysis, remote sensing and GIS, geophysical investigations, and long-term temperature and climate anomaly datasets to examine how Alpine glaciers respond to climate variability and extreme weather events.
