Tenure-track researcher in Medicinal Chemistry, focusing on the development and validation of computational methods for drug discovery. My work addresses molecular representations, virtual screening, docking, and molecular dynamics applied to microbial and neurodegenerative targets. My expertise also includes the study of medicinal plants and their bioactive constituents, adopting an integrated approach bridging phytochemistry and medicinal chemistry.

Lines of research

My scientific activity is oriented toward the development, validation, and application of computational approaches in medicinal chemistry, with the objective of improving the efficiency and reliability of contemporary drug discovery processes. Particular emphasis is placed on the integration of in silico methodologies with natural products research, promoting translational strategies for the identification and optimization of biologically active compounds. The research encompasses both methodological innovation and application to complex pharmacological targets of current biomedical relevance.
