Cesare Galli is full professor of Industrial Law at the University of Parma. He is also head-office in a law-firm specialized in Intellectual Property in Milan.
In Italy and abroad he has been involved in important suits in Industrial Law, concerning also domain names and industrial design.
In 1999 he achieved the first Italian decision concerning biotechnological patents and in 2004 the first Italian decision concerning computer implemented inventino patents.
He published several articles on the topics of copyrights, patents and trademarks.
Actually he is member of INDICAM and AIPPI. In the latter he is chief of the working group on trademarks. He has been the Italian delegate at the congress of Geneva (2004), Berlin (2005), Goteborg (2006) and Singapore (2007).
In 2004 he worked as consultant at the Italian Chamber of Deputies during the session for the approval of the Industrial Property Act. In 2005 he taken part at the Commission instituted by the Ministry of Productive Activities for the reform of the Act. Since 2006 he is member of the Office Against Imitation Scientific Committee. In 2007 he became member of the Ministry of Culture Commission for the reform of the Copyright Act.
