ACADEMIC CAREER

Since March 2024, he is a Research Fellow (ICAR/07 Geotechnics) at the Department of Engineering and Architecture, University of Parma, and holder of the course Foundations and Excavations Safety (Career-oriented Degree Course in Constructions, Infrastructures and Territorial Management).

From February 2023 to February 2024, he is a Post-Doctoral Researcher (ICAR/07 Geotechnics) at the Department of Engineering and Architecture, University of Parma. Research topic: The use of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning algorithms in geotechnical and infrastructural monitoring systems for the control and safety management of roads and civil works in urban and suburban areas

From February 2022 to February 2023, he is Post-Doctoral Researcher (GEO/05 Applied Geology) at the Department of Engineering and Architecture, University of Parma. Research topic: Assessment and monitoring of landslide movements interacting with the provincial road network

EDUCATION

PhD in Engineering in Civil Engineering and Architecture, awarded in May 2022 from the University of Parma. Thesis: Automatic detection of landslide events for risk management and early warning procedures
