Research Projects:
* Coordinator of the Parma team of the project PRIN P2022PSMT7 “Mathematical modelling for a sustainable Circular Economy in ecosystems” (PI: Prof. D. Lacitignola (Cassino)).
* Coordinator of the Parma team of the project PRIN 2017YBKNCE “Multiscale phenomena in Continuum Mechanics: singular limits, off-equilibrium and transitions” (PI: Prof. M. Sammartino (Palermo)).
* I have been coordinator of Junior Projects funded by GNFM (Italian Group of Mathematical Physics):

- “Kinetic models for socio-economic sciences", 2009.
* I have been involved in PRIN projects, Integrate Actions Italy-Spain, and Galileo projects of French-Italian University.
Research Interests:
My research focuses on kinetic theory and on the study of reaction-diffusion systems, expecially for situations with non-conservative phenomena. These include:
- Kinetic theory for chemically reacting mixtures;
- Kinetic theory for granular media;
- Kinetic theory for socio-economic sciences;
- Derivation of reaction-diffusion systems from kinetic equations, and investigation of stability properties of the solutions.
