Born in Pisa, Italy (1992), Costanza Saletti earned a Bachelor of Science cum laude and a Master of Science in Energy Engineering cum laude at the University of Pisa in 2014 and 2017, respectively, and a PhD in Industrial Engineering at the University of Parma in 2021. During her career, she conducted internships and research periods at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Batavia, IL (USA), at the German Aerospace Center in Stuttgart (Germany) and at Mälardalen University in Västerås (Sweden). Since January 2022, she is Assistant Professor at the Department of Engineering and Architecture of the University of Parma.

She is teaching assistant of the courses “Energy Systems” and "Simulation and Experimentation of Energy Systems" for the BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and “Fluid Machinery and Energy Systems” for the BSc Degree in Management Engineering. Since the academic year 2022/2023, she is lecturer of the course "Smart Energy Systems" for the MSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Her research interests are related to modeling, simulation, optimization and smart control of integrated energy systems and district energy networks for a clean energy transition.
