RESEARCH ACTIVITIES

2005/2008 Member of the research unit of the University of Parma (directed by Prof. Laura Pineschi), national research project “Compliance systems: alternative means for the prevention, management and settlement of international disputes in international environmental law”(PRIN 2005).

2007/2009 Leading investigator of the local research project "Access to information, public participation in decision-making and access to justice in environmental matters between community and international law" (FIL 2007 (ex 60%) - University of Parma).

2007/2009 Member of the research group of the local research "Implementation of international environmental obligations and non-compliance mechanisms", led by Prof. Laura Pineschi (FIL 2007 (ex 60%) - University of Parma).

2007/2009 Member of the research group established in the framework of the agreement between the Ministry of environment and the University of Bologna on “Legal support to the Ministry of environment in relation to the Italian participation to UNECE environmental conventions and other international environmental agreements” , led by Prof. Attila Tanzi

2006 Assistance to Prof. Tanzi in the research for, and the drafting of, a paper on the relationship between the 1999 UNECE Protocol on Water and Health and EC Water Legislation requested by the WHO EURO office.

2004/2005 POST DOC CONTRAC RESEARCHER at the University of Parma on the topic: “The Kyoto Protocol and its implementation at the European, national and local levels”

2004-2006 Member of the research group established in the framework of the agreement between the Ministry of environment and the University of Verona on “Legal support to the Ministry of environment in relation to the Italian participation to the UNECE conventions on access to information, public participation and access to justice (Aarhus, 1998), on transboundary water (Helsinki, 1992) and its Protocol on water and health (London, 1999)”, led by Prof. Attila Tanzi.

2003 Assistance to Prof. Tanzi in the research for, and the drafting of, a paper on the of a compliance mechanism for the 1999 UNECE Protocol on Water and Health (U.N. docs No. MP.WAT/WG.4/2004/2 e EUR/5047016/2004/2) requested by the UNECE/WHO joint Secretariat.
