Personale docente

Having graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Modena in 1976 with 110/110 magna cum laude and the right to print the thesis, the responsible of the research unit has obtained the title of Doctor in Research in Roman Law in November 1987 but, in November 1986 he had already passed the exam for assistant professor, group 16, Roman Law and in 1991 he received the definite assignment for teaching this subject. Since November 1st 1999 he has beeen "professore straordinario" and then since June 2003 “professore ordinario” at the University of Parma. Ha has taught at the Faculty of Law of the University of Messina, Modena and the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Piacenza. He is a member of the Italian Association of Studies in Late Antiquity. He has intervened in various national and international congresses, also organizing some of them. He has participated in many research projects involving more universities and collaborates with the most renowned magazines in the fields of Roman studies.
