Antonio Montepara

Antonio Montepara is Full Professor, Chairman of the Academic Council and Head of the Centre for Infrastructure Studies at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Architecture of the University of Parma (since 2000).
Head of the Material Laboratory (since 1994).
Dean of Engineering Faculty of Parma since 2007 to 2012.
Overseer with prof. Reynaldo Roque of the Bilateral Agreement draft with the Department of Civil and Coastal Engineering, University of Florida (since 2005).
Permanent member of the Scientific Committee “European Symposium on Performance and Durability of Bituminous Materials and Hydraulic Stabilized Composites”, University of Leeds (United Kingdom) and Chairman of the SIIV ( Italian Infrastructure Society) International Reports Comitee since 1998, as well as Charter Member of the “University Centre of Road Research”.
Chairman of the Unified Studies Comitee (CSU).
Current research interests concern to: Reinforcement in Flexible Pavements Maintenance; Hot Asphalt Mixtures Fracture Mechanics; Asphalt Mixtures Performance Characterization; Constitutive Modeling of Microstructural Materials; Recycled Materials.
