Pietro Vagliasindi is Professor of Public Finance (Ph.D. UCL; M.Sc. LSE in Economics) and Director of the Department of International Economics, Finance and Law, of the Ph. D. in "Commercial Law, Intellectual Property and Competition" and of the Master of "Diplomatic Career and of International and EU Institutions". He is also Professor at the European College at Parma, Economic Expert at SECIT and Advisor of the Min. of Economics and Finance (Dep. of Fiscal Policies) at Rome. He has been member of international research project: (i) Univ. of Glasgow, Italian coordinator in "Regulating the changing media", ESRC, (ii) Cardozo School of Law, Univ. New York, economic analysis of "Media Regulation in India", (iii) Univ. of Warwick and Edinburgh, in "Regulation of Vertically Related Markets", ESRC, (iv) PCMLP, Oxford Univ., economic analysis of the European project "Media Regulation in Europe". He started his career as a Student, at the Scuola Superiore “S. Anna” at Pisa and enhanced his analysis capabilities with a wide range of research and operative experiences, collaborating to research and didactic activities related to public economics at the Univ. of Pisa, Perugia and Parma, at study centres of CESPE, Treasury and Finance Ministries, LUISS, LSE and University College at London, Oxford and Reading.
