Born in Piacenza on March 9, 1977.
2002 Graduated in Physics (110/110 cum Laude).
2006 PhD in Condensed Matter Physics with a thesis on the synthesis, structural and spectroscopic properties of lithium fullerenes.
2006-2008 Post-Doc funded by the European NEST FP6 project "Ferrocarbon".
2008-2012 Research Fellow at the Department of Physics, University of Parma.
2012-2014 Research activities at the Industrial Research and Technology Transfer Laboratory “MIST-ER” of the High Technology Network of the Emilia-Romagna Region.
2015-2022 Researcher at the Department of Physics and Earth Sciences, University of Parma.
Since 2022 Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematical, Physical, and Computer Sciences, University of Parma.

I am the author of more than 90 publications in international peer-reviewed journals and over 50 contributions to international conferences.
