Curriculum Vitae

Veronica Mattioli was born in Parma on July 26, 1994.

She received the Bachelor's degree in Computer, Electronic and Communication Engineering in December 2016. from the University of Parma in 2016.

In April 2018, she won a national competitive selection being recruited by Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., for a two week technical training at Huawei headquarter in Shenzhen (China). 

In 2019 and 2023, she received, respectively, the Master of Science degree with honors in Communication Engineering and the Ph.D. in Information Technologies, both from the University of Parma.

After completing one year as a Postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Engineering and Architecture of the University of Parma, she is currently a Fixed-Term Researcher (RTD-A) at the same department. Since 2019, she has been a member of the Multimedia Lab, and since 2020 she has actively collaborated on research activities at the Internet of Things Lab (IoTLab), becoming a full member in 2023.

She is involved in national and international research projects, actively participating in project coordination, meetings, and dissemination of research results through presentations at national and international conferences.

In 2025, she was awarded by the University of Parma for her contributions to innovative teaching practices.
