About

Professor Pertinhez holds degrees in Chemical Sciences and Biology, as well as a PhD in Biochemistry. She has accrued significant research experience in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, conducting scientific work at the Synchrotron Laboratory in Campinas, Brazil, and at the University of Oxford, UK. In 2005, she began her academic career in Italy as a researcher at the University of Parma. Since December 31, 2021, she has been a Full Professor in Clinical Biochemistry. Professor Pertinhez actively collaborates with numerous national and international research groups and is the author of over 120 publications in peer-reviewed journals, focusing on biochemistry, structural biology, spectroscopic techniques, and metabolomics.
