Born in Parma on 04th January 1956, married, three sons.
1974:Secondary school diploma (classical studies) at G.D. Romagnosi in Parma;
1979:degree cum laude in Economics at the University of Parma;
1979/80:winner of the “Luigi Einaudi” and “Alberto Beneduce” scholarships;
1980/81 graduate student at The Oxford University (U.K.). Winner of the C.N.R. and Luciano Jona scholarships;
1984:appointed “researcher” at Faculty of Economics in Parma (this function was confirmed in 1988);
2005:appointed “associate professor” at Faculty of Economics in Parma(this function was confirmed in 2008);

- Member of the Department of Economics at University of Parma; member of SIEP (Società Italiana di Economia Pubblica).
- Tenured of the course of Principles of Micoreconomics at Faculty of Economics in Parma. He collaborates with the Scuola Professioni Legali at Faculty of Law in Parma.
