I serve as Administrative Manager of the Department of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Parma, where I coordinate administrative, accounting, organizational and management activities in support of the Department’s institutional functions.

Dr Pietro Schianchi graduated in Economics and Business from the University of Parma and has served as Administrative Manager of the Department of Medicine and Surgery since 2017.
Throughout his professional career, he has gained extensive experience in the administrative, accounting, organizational and management activities of university structures, with particular regard to the coordination of teaching, research and third mission activities, relations with the Healthcare System, and quality assurance processes.
At the University of Parma, he has held various administrative and management positions, including Head of Departmental Coordination Unit, Superintendent with the duties of Department Administrative Secretary, and Department Administrative Secretary. His responsibilities have included budgeting, reporting, tax compliance, administrative management and support for institutional activities.
His profile also includes institutional and administrative coordination roles in research centres and University working groups, a Master’s degree in Management and E-government of University Institutions and Public Administrations, and continuous professional training in public procurement, accounting, transparency, anti-corruption, administrative digitalization and project management.
