Work and formative activities:
Massimo Bertozzi got the degree in electronic engineering on July 14th 1994 discussing a master thesis about ``Reti di Petri Stocastiche: Analisi su Architetture a Parallelismo Massivo''.
Form November 1st 1994 until October 31st 1997 he attended the PhD course on Information Technologies at the Dipartimento di Ingegneria dell'Informazione of the Università di Parma;
On June 16th 1998 he got the PhD title discussing a dissertation about ``Real-Time Image Processing for Automotive Applications'';
From November 1st 1997 until October 31st 1999 he had been ``Collaboratore Tecnico'' in the Dipartimento di Ingegneria dell'Informazione of the Università degli Studi di Parma;
From November 1st 1999 he has been assistant researcher in the Engineering Faculty of the ``Università degli Studi di Parma'' and from 2014 he became Associate Professor within the same University. From 06/2015 till 06/2020 he worked as algorithm senior technical manager woth VisLab srl, an Ambarella Inc. company.

Research activities:
Massimo Bertozzi is mainly involved in real-time image processing in automotive scenarios.
More specifically:
- use of massive parallel architectures ofr real-time image processing and
- development of algorithms for machine vision and automatic vehicle guidance systems.
Coordination activities:
- From 1995 till 1997 chair of the Parma's IEEE Student Branch;
- From 2023 he acts as coordinator of the masters' degree in Electronic Engineering for Intelligent Vehicles
