I currently hold a research position in German Literature at the University of Parma and serve as an adjunct lecturer at Libera Università di Lingue e Comunicazione IULM. In 2024, I earned my PhD from the University of Milan, collaborating with the research centres Neuroscience & Humanities at the University of Parma, NewHums at the University of Catania, and the Institut für Germanistik at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn.
My transdisciplinary research emerges from the dialogue between German literary anthropology and neuroscience and seeks to identify a poetics of emotions through the contemporary paradigm of 5E cognitive science, with the aim of investigating and understanding the role of emotional phenomena in the production and reception of literary texts.
