Full Professor of Engineering Management at the Department of Engineering for Industrial Systems and Technologies (DISTI), University of Parma.

Academic background includes a degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University, Milan, and a Ph.D. in Science of Industrial Innovation from the University of Padua.

Currently holds the position of Deputy Director of the Department.

Research areas

The research focuses on infrastructure finance and large public projects, with particular attention to real estate and structured finance, project financing, and public–private partnerships, examining conditions of economic and financial sustainability, risk management, governance implications, and the role of international institutions as well as national and European policies. At the same time, it explores the organizational transformation of Public Administration, conceived as a process of organizational and digital innovation aimed at improving efficiency, transparency, and quality of services, addressing the challenges of public sector modernization and strengthening the capacity to interact with citizens and businesses.
