Released software

- 2012 – Now. Coauthor of the Matlab toolbox FSDA™. Software owned jointly by the University of Parma and the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission (Riani, Perrotta, and Torti 2012 Chemometrics and Intelligent Laboratory Systems, Riani, Perrotta and Cerioli, 2015, Journal of Statistical Software). This new software library, which extends MATLAB® and statistics toolbox® to support a robust and efficient analysis of complex datasets, affected by different sources of heterogeneity, is freely downloadable from the Mathworks file exchange: https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/72999-fsda The FSDA toolbox is protected by a European Union Public Licence (EUPL).

Research activity
Main research interests, from a methodological viewpoint, are all aspects concerning robust regression, robust time series and robust multivariate data analysis. From an applied viewpoint: risk management and quality evaluation.
The research activity has lead to about 150 publications (60 of them have appeared in International Journals of Statistics).
He is co-author of two research books and a software protected by the EUPL licence written in cooperation with the Joint Research Centre of the EC for robust multivariate data analysis.
