Sandra Mikolajewska is a Fixed-term Assistant Professor (RTDA) in the academic field CEAR-10/A – Drawing, at the Department of Engineering and Architecture (DIA) of the University of Parma (Italy).

She currently teaches in English the following courses within the Master’s Degree Program in Architecture and City Sustainability (ACS): Building Information Modeling, Analysis and Evaluations of Architectural Rehabilitation (module of the Core Restoration and Reuse of Architecture Studio); Urban Survey (module of the Core Architectural and Urban Regeneration Design Studio). She also teaches in Italian the course Representation Tools for Product Communication (module of the Representation Laboratory) within the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Sustainable Design for the Food System.

Since 2024, she is a member of the International Mobility Committee of the DIA and the Quality Assurance Manager (RAQ) for the Master's Degree Program in ACS. Since 2025, she is also a member of the Research Committee – Working Group on Research Programs of the scientific society Unione Italiana del Disegno (UID).

She earned her Master’s Degree in Architecture in 2017 from the University of Parma with top marks, presenting a thesis entitled “Santa Maria di Canepanova. Knowledge and Enhancement of a Bramante-Style Architecture in Pavia” (supervised by Prof. A. Zerbi and co-supervised by Prof. B. Adorni). In 2021, she received her PhD from the same university (DIA) with a dissertation on integrated digital technologies for the documentation, conservation, and enhancement of cultural heritage, with a particular focus on the 17th-century Farnese Theatre in Parma (supervised by Prof. A. Zerbi). That same year, she received the “Gaspare De Fiore Award 2021” for her PhD thesis at the 42nd International Conference of Professors of Drawing Disciplines – UID. From 2021 to 2023, she held a research fellowship at the University of Parma and worked as Adjunct Professor at the Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna.

Her research activity focuses on the survey and representation of historical monumental architecture, with particular focus on innovative three-dimensional modeling methods and the use of multimedia technologies for the enhancement of Cultural Heritage.
