Graduated Ph.D. student (Doctorate) in Industrial Engineering Department at the University of Parma. Master thesis discussed was titled “The impact of RFID technology on FMCG Supply Chain: the results of the first Italian pilot project” and was developed with professor Antonio Rizzi, manager and director of RFID Lab.
2003
Mechanical Engineer Degree taken in University of Parma – Italy with final votation of 110/110 cum laude. Master thesis discussed was titled “Simulation of the cooking process inside electric oven for food” and was developed with professor Giorgio Pagliarini, professor Antonio Rizzi and engineer Alessandro Aiello.
Awarded as best student of the year of the Mechanical Engineer course (years 1999 – 2000, 2000 – 2001, 2001 – 2002, 2002 – 2003)

Responsible of Research Activities carried out in RFID experimental laboratory named “RFID Lab”, a structure of University of Parma – Industrial Engineering Department.
The lab focuses its activity on Auto-ID technology implementation in Logistics Processes, and in particular on RFID adoption in SCM.
Speaker at “RFID Journal LIVE! Europe 2006” in Amsterdam, 25-27 October 2006, discussing the results of lab’s first activities: “Performance of EPC Gen2 tags under ETSI regulation”;
Member of examination committee of the following courses:
