- 2005 Ph.D. in Financial Markets and Intermediaries, University of Bologna, Ph.D. Thesis: Equo e redditizio: obiettivi sociali e obiettivi finanziari nella valutazione degli investimenti (Social and Financial Objectives in Investment Evaluation).
- 2001 Degree in Business Administration, University of Parma, Degree Thesis: Performance dei fondi comuni di investimento ed interferenze fiscali (Mutual Funds Performance and Tax Interference).
- from 2003 to 2007 Research Scholarship, Department of Economics (University of Parma), for a research on financial and non-financial criteria for investments evaluation.
