Degree in Medicine and Surgery summa cum laude on 7/9/91, licence to medical practice in Medicine and Surgery November 1991, University of Parma; member of the Medical Practitioners National Register of the Province of Cosenza (Italy) since December 1991; PhD in Basic and applied Microbiology on 11/18/96, University of Padua; post-degree diploma at the Medical School of Microbiology and Virology summa cum laude on 11/22/99, University of Parma. Associate Professor of Microbiology and Clinical Microbiology, Department of Clinical and Experimental Medicine, University of Parma. Director of the Unit of Clinical Microbiology, Director in charge of the Unit of Clinical Virology, University hospital of Parma.
