Luca Davoli (https://lucadavoli.github.io) received his Master Degree and Ph.D. from the University of Parma, Italy, in 2013 and 2017, respectively. Since 2014, he has been a member of the Internet of Things (IoT) Lab (https://iotlab.unipr.it) in the Department of Engineering and Architecture, where since 2021 he has been a non-tenured assistant professor (researcher - Type A).
As of December 2025, Prof. Davoli has published more than 75 articles in leading international journals and conferences, 5 book chapters, and 2 patents. He is co-author of the book “Wireless Mesh Networks for IoT and Smart Cities: Technologies and Applications” (IET: 2022).
His research interests focus on the Internet of Things, Pervasive Computing, Big Stream, and Software-Defined Networking. He participates in numerous research projects funded by public and private entities, both national and international. He is currently a member of the editorial boards of several international journals. He is Member of the IEEE.
