Personale docente

He was born in Brindisi (1964), he graduated in Architecture at the University of Florence (1991) and obtained his PhD in History of Architecture at the University “La Sapienza” of Rome with his thesis "Architettura e città nella Roma di Clemente XII Corsini. 1730-1740" (1998). He has received many grants both in Italy and abroad: Istituto per gli Studi Filosofici di Napoli, 1993; Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei di Roma, 1995; European Union, 1996; Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Spain, 1999. He has received a research grant (Assegno di Ricerca) from the department of Storia e Restauro dell’Architettura, University of Florence (“Atlante del Barocco in Italia”, 2000-2002); he also has a contract with the Department of Filosofia, University of Pisa (“La civiltà delle immagini”, 2003-2005). He taught History of Architecture at the universities of Siena (1999-2000), Firenze (2007-2008), Parma (2008-2009). Since march 2015 he has been a associate professor in the University of Parma.
