Living and working with other people, in multicultural environments, in positions where communication is important and situations where team work is essential I have been collaborating with several Italian and International Institute of research (Faculty of Veterinary Science or Animal Production) also for prolonged periods. These experiences gave me the opportunity to develop the skills for collaboration with people.
I have experience for 20 years in the organization of teaching (practical) duties (see above). Other skill that have been developed by my activity in sport (see above)
I have been Coordinator of some Italian and International research projects: projects:

- CNR The control of follicular development in dairy cow (n° 95.04411, n °99.03116.0T06)
- FIL (ex 60%) years 1996-2010,
- Italian Foreign Affair Office. Three years project
1) Italy-Vietnam 2001-2005
2) Italy-Japan 2002-2006
- research Project Italian Foreign Affair Office (legge 401) years 2002 and 2003.
- Duo Thailand research and teaching program year 2007

I supervised more the 40 Theses for DVM Degree. One of these thesis (1992-1993) has been awarded as the best Thesis of the year for the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Parma (only 3 thesis of the Faculty achieved this award).

Research in endocrinology of reproduction in domestic animal and animal welfare.

I have been speaker for several Italian and International meeting.

Mayor research interests The major research interest regard the neuroendocrine control of the hypothalamo-hypophysial-ovarian axis in domestic animals with a particular attention to species as the sow, cow, buffalo, ewe, goat and dog.
The main scientific research that in which I am involved concerns:
a) the study the effect of thermal stress on fertility,
b) the oestrus synchronization in swine, dairy cow and buffalo,
c) synchronization of farrowing in sows,
d) the welfare of piglets during the early post-partum period.
e) The control of follicular activity in the female dog.
f) The ultrasound and elastography study of the genital tract in dog and swine
